Chakrata Top Places to Visit | Tiger Fall | Moila top and Budher Caves

Chakrata was one of the most offbeat places I’ve visited and it was so beautiful. It has some Military cantonment area so foreigners are not allowed.

Delhi to Chakrata distance: 325 km
Mussoorie to Chakrata distance: 75 km
Dhanaulti to Chakrata distance: 117 km
Dehradun to Chakrata distance: 89 km

Places to visit in Chakrata:

Tiger falls: It’s a hike of 1.5 kms on each side and it’s beautiful. It’s the highest waterfall of Uttarakhand.

Moila top and Budher caves: It’s a hike of 5km on each side and I enjoyed it so much. There is a meadow on top and a very amall and beautiful temple called “pari temple”. Also, you can enter the Budher caves from there and explore it a bit. It’s believed to be kms long and it looked very mysterious. Torches are a must if you want to enter.

We stayed at Ramtal Resort in Chakrata. Their food was delicious and the stay was very comfy.
