SJCAM SJ8 Pro: US$ 219,00 (cam + 2 batteries + head support + battery recharger + adhesive supports + waterproof case) - April 2020

In this test, both cameras were mounted at the handlebar of a mountain bike with front-wheel suspension. The supports used to attach the cameras were very similar and mounted symmetrically to the handlebar center (Hero 8 Black on the right side and SJ8 Pro on the left side).

The sound quality is not part of the scope of this test. Since the SJ8 Pro required its waterproof case to be attached to the support whereas the Hero 8 didn't, the comparison wouldn't be expressive.

The test ran on different types of street pavement:
Asphalt
Cobblestone - Ancient and irregular
Cobblestone - Modern and smooth
