MxPx - Lonesome Town & Educated Guess (Between This World and the Next)

“Lonesome Town” came out about 20 years ago and “Educated Guess” maybe 21 and when I think of those numbers they just don’t make sense. To me the songs still feel fresh when we play them live. And also they feel like classic MxPx sounding songs! Haha.

So as we dig deep into the catalog for our Between This World and the Next LIVE sets, I’m finding that the memories of these time periods come crashing into full view as my memory is jogged while singing these lyrics from all over the band’s history. It’s been a gift to go back and rediscover some of the really good tunes that never got the chance to get out much on the tours. That’s our fault I guess.

If anything, these shows LIVE on the internet have opened a huge box of past goodies for us to take out and tinker with. When we find something that really clicks with us.. we shine it up and throw it on the setlist. And your requests! Keep em coming!
