A.Caraceni was founded by Augusto Caraceni in Paris in 1931 after he worked next to his brother Domenico in Rome. During the second world war he closed the branch in Paris and moved back to Italy with his family, but this time in Milano. After the second world war he opened the branch at 1946 in Milano at Via Fabenefratelli, it exists until this day and run by his descendant Max Caraceni and his father Carlo. A.Caraceni is one of the best bespoke men suit makers in the world and makes only a bespoke suits by maintaining the old fashion way and the old vision of Augusto Caraceni. The suits are what is known as "Bench Bespoke," meaning they are made one at a time, by hand, to a pattern specifically drawn for each individual customer. Among A.Caraceni clients we can find Calvin Klein, Sergio Loro Piana, Carl Lagerfeld, Gianfranco Ferrè, and many more respectable people.
