From his first motorcycle which he raced alongside the cornfields of Indiana to the Porsche Spyder in which he died, James Dean loved the thrill of high speed and high-performance machines. For the first time, the story of this distinct side of James Dean's personal love of racing is told.

This revealing program offers unique insights into Dean's love of speed and racing from a variety of perspectives. It includes interviews with drivers who raced against him like Bill Watkins, who began his racing career on the same day and in the same race as Dean. Also featured is a first-time-ever interview with Porsche champion driver Lew Bracker, who urged Dean to buy the infamous Spyder.

Witness never-before-seen footage of Dean's sport racing career, including film made by Dean himself at sports car races, rare photographs of Dean, and a point-of-view ride in an exact replica of Dean's Porsche Spyder.
