This week here at Graham Paws Farm we share a fun project of adding a roll out egg collection box to our chicken coop in an attempt for egg collection to be more self sufficient in the event that we may be out of town for whatever reason. I’ve seen these online and thought it’d come in handy for the one time a year we go on vacation, or even if we get sick and don’t want to collect for a day or two, & if something unexpected would happen, it won’t hurt to allow for days to pass without collecting eggs and worrying about the hens picking at and eating them. I’m happy we did it, bc not only does it make the coop so cute but it also serves its purpose and takes a little less off our plate when they days are busy and we forget to collect the eggs 😊.
