The Red Fort Sound & Light Show - "Jai Hind" is a dramatic presentation of this bravery and the history of India from the 17th century to the present day. Using all forms of

performance art - projection mapping, live action films, light, and immersive sound, actors, dancers, and puppets - it brings to life key episodes from India's history including the tussle for power between Dara Shikoh and Aurangzeb, the plunder of Red Fort and Shajahanabad by Nader Shah, the rise of the Marathas and their control of Red Fort, the 1857 War of Independence, the rise of the Indian National Army and the INA trials, the fight for Independence and India's continuing progress over the past 75 years.

Where do I have to reach to enter the Red Fort for Jai Hind, the all-new sound & light show?

-Entry to Red Fort is from the security gate located right outside Lahori Gate.

Do I need to buy an entry ticket for Red Fort?

Yes, during regular Red Fort visiting hours, you will need to buy an entry ticket for Red Fort. After 6 pm, however, your Jai Hind ticket will allow you entry into the Red Fort. You will need a wristband ID to enter which needs to be collected from the Jai Hind counter right next to the security gates.

By when should I reach the Red Fort for hassle-free entry?

You should collect your wrist-band IDs at least 30 minutes before the start of the show for a hassle free experience.

What's the location of Jai Hind show inside the Red Fort? Jai Hind is a three-part show beginning at Naubat Khana, then Diwan-e-Aam, and the final part at Diwan-e-Khaas. Look for direction sianages and ushers for quidance to the starting point.

Is seating available for all three parts of the show?

No, seating is available for the final and main part of the show at Diwan-e-Khaas, which lasts for about 40 ns. Your seat numbers are mentioned on vour tickets.

Is parking available near the entry/security gate? Authorised car parking is roughly 750 m from the entry/security gate. E-rickshaws are however available to bring you to the entry/security gate for a small fee.
