Aikido JO 31 KATA SHIHO (in four directions) by Stefan Stenudd in 2004

The aikido jo 31 kata is here done in four directions, shiho, instead of the usual two.
This is not the basic version of the jo 31 kata, but a variation I developed for my students and myself. A long kata, like this one, is usually done in four directions — whether it is jo, ken or an unarmed art.

This is a new edit of a 2004 video posted in 2006:

The quality is improved in the edit, but still far below the level of contemporary videos. Also, there is no sound, since it was filmed through the window of a room on the floor above the dojo.
