In Telangana, the TRS had alleged that BJP is trying to lure their MLAs under Operation Lotus. BJP has denied the allegations.

TRS released a purported audio tape on Twitter. The alleged telephonic conversation is said to be happening between TRS legislator Pilot Rohith Reddy & Ramachandra Bharathi, a priest from Faridabad in Haryana. Bharathi could be heard proposing a meeting in Hyderabad in the tape. In this alleged conversation, the MLA could be heard seeking confidentiality.

Meanwhile, the ACB court has rejected police request to remand the 3 accused in the alleged horse-trading case. Police have then moved to the High Court. The 3 persons who were arrested are Ramachandra Baharathi, Nandakumar and Simhayaji.

BJP called it a drama enacted by CM KCR to win the Munugode by-poll which is scheduled to take place on November 3.

Telangana BJP has also approached the High Court seeking the transfer of the case pertaining to the TRS MLAs' poaching allegations against the party, to the CBI or to constitute a special investigation team (SIT) to
carry out a fair probe.
