While B811AOP had the lunch break, NOE544R substituted its place in the car park shuttle service.
The "headless" Leyland 510 turbo engine was standard for National Mk1. Although its concept might be ahead of its time, it was catastrophic for some operators, and it didn't sound as appealing as an O.680 or 6LXB to me.
Apparently the gear selector got stuck at 1:10 as the driver spent some time to engage a low gear.
