Learn a new way to use a table cut button in this PotomacBeads tutorial. Bright as a Button Earrings shimmer and shine like little stars from your ears.

1. Put a stop bead onto about an arm’s span length of thread. Bring the needle up through the back of the cup button. Add 13 seed beads, bring the needle around and back up the same hole in the button so the beads sit in one of the button’s ridges. Repeat 3 more times to line half the button.

2. Watch the Bright as a Button Earring tutorial to follow along with Dena as she guides you through the process of making these DIY earrings. Using IrisDuos and Potomac crystals.

3. Bring the thread to the back of the project by the stop bead and tie off. Add a jump ring to one of the outer 8/0 beads. Add an earwire to the ring.

Bright as a Button Earrings can also be made as a pendant. Switch up the colors and you’ll have a festive ornament for the tree.
