We had the pleasure of welcoming some American students to Imperial who were selected to take part in our International Research Opportunities Programme (IROP) over the summer.

The IROP offers students an exciting chance to spend 8 weeks at one of Imperial’s partner Universities. This is an exciting opportunity for students to broaden their perspective, gain new experiences and develop their skills.

These research opportunities present a unique opportunity to gain international research experience and experience life in another country during the summer break.

Claire, a third-year Aerospace Engineering and Physics student from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) joined us to spend time with our Aeronautics department to work on her research project and explore London in the process.

Follow Claire's day as spends time at our main South Kensington Campus, working at the Imperial College Rocket Team Workshop, meeting friends, and of course taking in the sights and sounds of London.
