Fun Fact: There was once a TV series called "MR. BROADWAY" (which lasted 13 episodes in the fall of 1964), starring Craig Stevens as a "two-fisted" public relations agent. David Susskind's "Talent Associates" produced it for CBS, and he asked Dave to write a theme and score for the series. It was SO GOOD, Brubeck recorded an entire album's worth of music he wrote for it {"Jazz Impressions of New York"}.
