China VLOG - Tianjin (2023)

📓The third and last stop in China was the seventh-largest city, Tianjin. Before I left for China, I had seen photos of Tianjin, and I was quite sure I would love every minute of it. But, to be honest, it was better. I have never seen a city drenched in nightly colors as much as Tianjin is. My walk down the Haihe River promenade was one of the highlights of my entire life. So colorful and vivid. People around me enjoying every single moment of their lives - dancing, singing, playing games... Something you can't see in Western countries.

Another aspect of this city is its cultural richness. There are so many things to visit, and I visited only a few. The Tianjin Museum was awesome. There are so many important artifacts. It felt like a cruise through Chinese history. Dabei Temple was another great place. I have added important information to my religious knowledge there. Porcelain House is another "can't miss" attraction. It is as stunning as it looks. And Tianjin parks were no less admirable.

I also have to add that I didn't like TV tower. I was expecting an open area with a great aerial view. Instead, it was an enclosed, rotating room with smeared windows, which offered less than an exhilarating experience. I'm also sad that I missed out on a chance to have a ride on the Tianjin Eye (Ferris wheel). I think the view from there would have surpassed everything. Unfortunately, it wasn't meant to be. Maybe next time...
