Saxophonist gets shred-approved ✅ by the guitarist

Eric Marienthal has that uncanny ability to smoothly shred the sh*t out of a fast bop tune, "Got A Match" by Chick Corea. Always astounding to me how effortless he phrases at these high tempo's, which you can experience in different versions of "Got A Match". Always loved this complete version by the Chick Corea Elektric Band live at North Sea Jazz, this was a very influential solo on me as a teenager just coming into jazz.
