সাভারে বাড়ছে বস্তায় আদা চাষ। স্বল্প জমি ও খরচ কম হওয়ায় এ পদ্ধতিতে বাড়ছে আদা চাষের পরিমাণ। ফলন ভালো হওয়ায় আগ্রহী হচ্ছেন অনেকে।শখের বসে ইউটিউব দেখে বাড়ির আঙিনায় আদা চাষ করেন শফিকুল ইসলাম। প্রথম বছরেই কম খরচে বেশি লাভ হওয়ায় এবার বাণিজ্যিকভাবে চাষ করছেন সাড়ে পাঁচ হাজার বস্তায়। প্রাকৃতিক দুর্যোগে বস্তা সরিয়ে নেয়া যায় নিরাপদ স্থানে। ফলে ক্ষতির ঝুঁকিও কম।বাড়ির উঠান, পুকুরপাড় কিংবা রাস্তার ধারে করা যায় বস্তায় আদা চাষ। এতে বাড়ছে উৎপাদন, হচ্ছে কর্মসংস্থান। অনেকেই ঝুঁকছে আদা চাষে। বস্তায় আদা চাষে কৃষকদের প্রশিক্ষণ ও সহায়তা অব্যাহত রয়েছে বলে জানান উপজেলা কৃষি কর্মকর্তা।
