TOUR ITINERARY :- Museum - Gateway of India - Mantralaya - NCPA - Nariman Point - Marine Drive - Girgaon Chowpatty - Marine Drive - Churchgate - Oval Maidan - Mumbai CSMT - Hutatma Chowk - Horniman Circle - Old Custom House - Kala Ghoda - Museum.

Ticket Fare :- INR 150/- (Upper Deck) and INR 75/- (Lower Deck)
Departures :- 5.00pm , 6.30pm & 8.00pm from Dr. S.P. Mukherjee Chowk (Museum)

From 12th November 2021, the Brihanmumbai Electric Supply & Transport Undertaking (BEST) added another schedule to it's Open Deck Bus Heritage Tour at 5.00pm from Dr. S.P. Mukherjee Chowk. This tour was initially managed by BEST & Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC) togerther. In Diwali, the Tourist Special Circuit was started again by using 4001/C (named Nilambari) from Colaba Depot for the purpose. The Open Deck Bus has a well experienced guide onboard, to explain us the History of various Heritage Locations covered enroute. Overall it takes an hour to cover, but you won't get an idea how time passes.

That day, ‪@ARK17‬ ‪@SaurabhRautIR‬ & Tyrone D'Souza had accompanied me for this Trip, making it a day to remember. It turned out to be "WORTH A PENNY RIDE" & the memories still remain fresh. The BEST way to enjoy this ride is booking a seat on the Upper Deck. Do visit the BEST Chowky at Museum Bus Station for on spot booking (you can schedule your booking in advance as well) and be early as possible to avoid any big group ruining your choice of seat on the Upper Deck. At times (especially on weekends) it does happen that you might not get a seat on the Upper Deck due to these factors. Do plan your next trip onboard the NILAMBARI and create your own memory, since this experience can't be just expressed through a video. It's beyond that.
