The LuAZ-969, also known as ‘Volyn’, was a Soviet four-wheel drive automobile built by the Zaporizhia Automobile Building Plant. The first Soviet vehicle with front wheel drive, it was based on the LuAZ-9671. The development of this model began in 1966, and the LuAZ plant produced it in 1979. Later, the plant produced an updated model of the LuAZ-969A in 1975, and the last brand, which was released in 1979, received the name LuAZ-969M2. It was produced until 1996.
