In this video, I take you on a peaceful evening walk through the heart of Kuala Lumpur, starting from the city center and heading toward one of the city’s most iconic spots — KLCC Park and Suria KLCC Shopping Mall, located right beneath the famous Petronas Twin Towers.

💚 A Breath of Green in a Busy City
Despite being one of Southeast Asia’s busiest capitals, Kuala Lumpur offers pockets of greenery and calm — and KLCC Park is the perfect example. This beautifully landscaped 50-acre park was designed by Brazilian architect Roberto Burle Marx, and offers a relaxing space right in the middle of the city’s urban jungle. With fountains, walking paths, a children’s playground, and a view of the towers, this area is a favorite for locals and tourists alike, especially in the cooler hours of the evening.

🛍️ Suria KLCC – Shop, Dine, Relax
After exploring the park, the walk continues into the Suria KLCC Mall, one of the largest and most luxurious malls in Malaysia. Located at the base of the Petronas Twin Towers, Suria KLCC opened in 1998 and quickly became a hub for both international brands and Malaysian designers, as well as high-end restaurants, tech shops, and lifestyle stores. It’s a must-visit destination whether you’re into window shopping or just want to escape the heat.

🗼 A Bit of KLCC History
The KLCC (Kuala Lumpur City Centre) project was launched in the 1990s to create a modern urban development zone in the heart of the capital. Its crown jewel, the Petronas Towers, held the title of the world’s tallest buildings from 1998 to 2004 and still dominate the skyline today. The area was once part of a racecourse, but is now a symbol of Malaysia’s rapid development.
