So when Emerald Guitars sent me their handmade carbon fiber archtop, I had to give it a try. Having previously played western-style carbon fiber guitars, I was curious how this combination and craftsmanship on a handmade jazz-archtop instrument would measure up -- it didn’t disappoint!

It’s a unique instrument with great playability - perfect if you’re looking to add something different to your collection. While my heart remains with traditional wooden guitars, this one is definitely worth checking out!
