Lee's Summit High School Yearbook Staff Attends The National Dance Team Championship

The Lee's Summit HS Yearbook staff joined their dance team to experience and capture the 2024 National Dance Team Championship at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, FL.

The yearbook staff received media passes for the event to gain real-world experience of covering a major event. Staffers sat alongside professional photographers & videographers to capture content for their schools social media and yearbook.

As part of the experience, the yearbook staff met with several professionals covering the event to learn more about the opportunities of applying journalism into their future career.
