My hands have been bothering me so much lately. Mostly my right hand, and naturally I am right handed. I have sorely abused my right hand, add a botched carpal tunnel surgery to it and the pain can be quite unbearable at times.

I have an arsenal of asper creams, topical creams, you name it to help combat it, but I have found much like my other joints, my hand responds well to a copper compression sleeve. The one I have been using has no fingers in it and given I have large hands, it is really loose over my knuckles and the thumb hole is way too large to give me the pressure and ultimately the relief I need.

Don't get me wrong, it has served its purpose and given me relief in other areas, my wrist and the back of my hand, I had never seen short fingered compression gloves before, I had considered giving the full gloves a try, but I would be pulling them on and off frequently as I was doing jobs, I still do that with these ones, but no where near as much, since half of my fingers are exposed from the middle knuckle down I can get away with doing some things whilst still wearing them.

I did hope that they were universal, but no, they are left and right handed gloves. They have silicone stripes running horizontally across the palms and fingers to help with gripping. I find the wrist length is good, it covers where I need it.

I have only been wearing the right hand, so it was interesting to compare them when I put both on in the video as to how much the right had stretched in comparison to the left. I can atest to not a great deal. It was easier to put on but not by much. I find that they are not an easy slip on and off. Once I put them on I do have to fiddle with the fingers until I get them comfortable. But once I do, the glove is great.

I'm still getting used to the whole half fingers thing, it is an odd sensation, however having said that, I got used to the one across my knuckles.

These offer me a nice amount of pressure where I need it and over all support. It helps keep the swelling down on the really bad days. Over all I am happy with them and not really sure I could ask much more from them. The only thing I do wonder about is if the edges of the fingers are going to fray, I have had quite a few fabric strands so far.
