I've seen Tommy driving around town in his Belvedere from time to time. I met him a couple of years ago when I sold him an Edelbrock intake and carb.
Recently we touched base again and I suggested that I put it on for him. The trouble was that there were too many problems that were going to be associated with the swap. Throttle cable bracket, throttle cable too short, kick down linkage and the list went on.

As it turned out the real problem that he had was it wanting to die at a stop sign when it's hot and the air conditioning is on.

We may have figured out his problem.
