Barely hours after declaring victory in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi got into a flight and headed over to Mangaluru, where he arrived at 11.45 pm last night.
Hundreds of well-wishers gathered outside the Mangaluru airport to catch a glimpse of the Prime Minister. The welcome accorded to Prime Minister Modi was one he would definitely remember for time to come.
The Prime Minister stayed at the Government Lodge overnight. He was received by MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, DG/IGP Neelamani Raju, and Mangaluru DC Sasikanth Senthil, among others.
Prime Minister Modi left the lodge at 7.15 am this morning and boarded a helicopter for a visit to Lakshadweep.
