👩‍🎓 Anna Stenning is a Wellcome Trust research fellow based in the School of English at the University of Leeds in the UK. Her current project is entitled 'Remembering what really matters: nature, culture and autism.' Anna is co-editor of Neurodiversity Studies: A New Critical Paradigm, and her work explores the cultural implications of neurodiversity.

💬 People with autism are often deprived of the occasion to be recognized as having a story to tell. In short: they are robbed of narrative agency. In this talk, Anna Stenning explains how neurodivergent novelists and narrators, such as Ipek Burçak and Joanne Limburg, can help us right this wrong.
