A Gurgaon-based company that began operations in 2014 but today does bookings of over ₹10,000 crore annually.

I met up with Amit Kaicker of Signature Global to understand the journey as well as what’s happening in the vibrant Gurgaon real estate market.

Amit says that Gurgaon is outperforming markets like Mumbai and Bangalore due to the massive migration from Delhi. He makes a grand prediction that Gurgaon property prices will become 2x of Delhi.

He says that the speculative nature of NCR real estate has moderated in this up cycle after COVID-19. But he mentions that traders who are trapped by booking units at launch but unable to sell quickly - should sell at a stop-loss and get out.

While he remains optimistic on Noida - Amit believes that Noida is not competition to Gurgaon. Within Gurgaon - the next big belt to rise according to him is Southern Peripheral Road where his company and several others like DLF have an upcoming development.
