For many residents in Tsakuwa Town, TB remains a significant public health challenge, with symptoms like persistent cough, fever, weight loss, and night sweats often going unrecognized, especially among children aged 0-14 and adults 15 and above. The Health Awareness Campaign Movement is breaking this silence by fostering community engagement through town hall meetings, door-to-door sensitization, and partnerships with health workers for screening and referrals. These efforts empower community leaders, youth, and women’s associations to identify and report suspected cases early.

Aligned with SDG Goal 3: Good Health and Well-Being, this campaign promotes health equity and disease prevention by equipping residents with knowledge of TB symptoms and treatment options.
