Epcot Future World 1987

I love the original classic attractions at EPCOT! In honor of the 40th Anniversary of Walt Disney's EPCOT CENTER I'm sharing the video I took on my first visit to the park in 1987. This video only covers the Future World section of the park with another video to follow covering World Showcase.

Future World at EPCOT had some of my all-time favorite Disneyworld attractions now sadly only memories for those of us lucky to have experienced them. Original and entertaining Audio animatronic characters mercifully not connected to existing Disney animated properties. Check out KITCHEN KABARET at the 18:29 on the timeline for a great example as it's one of my favorite Disney shows ever. And who wasn't amazed at the trip through the Journey Into Imagination ride with Figment and Dreamfinder with a stop for creative fun in The Imaginarium before Disney corporate decided to downgrade this entire pavilion. Anyway, I hope you enjoy this flash from EPCOT's glorious past when it had an actual theme that was flawlessly implemented to entertain and educate.
