‪@boatfools‬ #oceancruiser #bluewatersailboat #sailboatforsale #sailing This is A Fantastic BUDGET Ocean Cruiser and she's ready to go now! Quite frankly we were blown away but what a buyer would get for $30k - from a Beta Marine Diesel with only 1,800 hrs (re-powered in 2010), 380 watts of solar generating capacity, to updated electronics and safety gear, she has it all. The current owners were planning a voyage back home to South Africa but life has abruptly changed their plans and they need to sell their sailboat. A lot of the heavy lifting on this 1975 Gulfstar 41 ketch has been completed. The previous owners had her for 30 years and, at one point, took the time to fix some moisture issues in the side decks and cockpit floor - so, in short, the trouble spots that typically plague older boats with balsa cored decks, have been cured on this particular boat. In yacht surveying parlance, she's in much better than average condition for her age. In fact, she is ready to roam wherever you desire. If you're looking for a coastal cruiser, long distance cruiser, or a bluewater live-aboard sailboat, this boat might be for you.

***The autohelm shown in the cockpit is the back-up version.
