Even with the most aggressive efforts to reduce emissions, our planet will continue to warm in the next 30-40 years. Such warming's impacts on human safety and economic prosperity affect young people and those in the Global South the most.

To make sure their voices are heard in international climate dialogues, SilverLining partnered with global youth climate organizations for "An Intergenerational Dialogue on Research in Climate Interventions to Protect Vulnerable People and Ecosystems from Catastrophic Climate Change." The event, held in-person and virtually during COP26 in Glasgow, featured a lively exchange between youth climate leaders, early career scientists, and audience members from across the world on the current state of climate intervention research and policy, along with considerations for decision makers.

As part of the event, youth climate leaders from Arab Youth Climate Movement Qatar, Sustenta Honduras, YOUNGO TechMech Working Group and SilverLining's Global Youth Initiative presented their Youth Call to Action on Climate Intervention, a call for immediate and genuine action on research and constructive dialogue on climate intervention.
