Unpatched and stored at Sterling Rail Services.

Dozens of EMD SD40-2 and similar engines were located in this area. To me this engine was the most interesting. So I concentrated my efforts on it. Added some music during the edit.

A second video with the identical visuals, but different music is also available. I couldn't figure which one I liked better. So since they are short, I've posted both.

Here's what YouTuber "terrellfarms1" commented. "It was originally a SD45 #968 built for the Chicago Northwestern. It was rebuilt into a SD40-2 for the Southern Pacific. It had the SD45 radiator vents removed and SD40 vents installed. It also had dynamic brakes added at this time since it originally came without dymanic brakes."
