Continuing our series, "Beguiled By Beauty" we look at the wonder and mystery of our God. We accept our inability to know God, or truly know the mystery or the divine image in another. With honor and awe we chose to accept the mystery, leaving behind our compulsion to control by knowing. We humble ourselves and let the wonder of God lead us to God's love. God's love being expressed in scripture through compassion and justice, among other things. In this way we refuse to create idols made in our image, from our capabilities to name and nail down.
