Changing the Guard Copenhagen New Year's Day January 2025 - The Band of the Royal Life Guards

Den Kongelige Livgardes Musikkorps, The Band of the Royal Life Guards supporting the Changing of the Guard in Copenhagen on 1st January, New Year's Day 2025. This is a special day for the Royal Family and the Royal Life Guards and to celebrate, the band and soldiers wear the special red gala uniforms, usually reserved for royal birthdays, special events and New Year's Day.

The band is led on parade by Drum Major Søren Rønløv and conducted by Assistant Director of Music Jesper Hyllested.

I apologise for the wind noise and occasional rain drops on the lens during some of these clips. As you can see (and hear) it was a very windy day which at times made the parade very difficult to march/play in which is testament to the band for still providing a great performance.
