Lets play some Outrunners!

This is a raw gameplay of Sega's Outrunners, no edits. Bottom line, I love this game. It may be blasphemy for Outrun purists but I think this game is better than the original. Super arcadey, super over the top and just a lot of fun. Truly a hidden gem of arcade racing. I did well on the first run, not so hot on the second and almost made it to the end on the last run. But honestly I had fun the whole time. This game can be fairly difficult, it seems to be all about memorizing each stage and knowing where all the hard turns are, even so if you crash even once its pretty unlikely you will make it to the last stage.

Great sound, great gameplay, the total package in my opinion and very replayable. You can even play this with 2 players on one screen as this was one of only a few arcade games that used one board for both players in a 2 player cabinet. The music actually only comes out of the one speaker or the other if you are playing 1 player something I didn't notice until I played the game with headphones on... Also of note, the sound is excellent with that great reverb heavy arcade sound.
