AUSTRALIA TO WELCOME STUDENTS AND WORKERS| MAY 2021 UPDATE

Victoria is trying to welcome international students and workers from this month as part of a state government plan to support the COVID-19 economic recovery.

From 24 May, the proposal states to accept 120 arrivals per week, including international students and workers for major events or stage/screen productions.

The travellers would be housed in a separate hotel quarantine facility from returning Australians by providing them similar arrangements placed for the Australian Open.
