PrismaColor Premier 72 Colored Pencil Set Unboxing

The PrismaColor Premier 72 Colored Pencil Set provides a wide range of color options for art creation. The colors provided by PrismaColor have a strong reputation in the artistic community for how vibrant and rich they are, compared with other colored pencil options.

These colors lay down smoothly, blend beautifully, and the full 72-color set means you usually have just the perfect color for whatever project you're working on. There are botanical colors, bright manga-like colors, subdued monochromes, and just about everything in between.

I adore these colors and love working with them. I do recommend using them on a reasonable quality paper (i.e. not iron-flat printer paper) to get the best results. Also, I recommend using a good quality pencil sharpener. Cheap pencil sharpeners can 'torque' the inner color cylinder free from the wood sheathe, damaging the usefulness of the pencil.

Definitely create a color chart for yourself when you first get your pencils, so that you can see visually exactly what each color looks like on whatever paper you're most likely to use. Also, I recommend re-ordering the colors into an order that makes sense for you, depending on the type of things you're most likely to draw.
