In this episode, we return to one of our favourite places in South Africa — Addo Elephant National Park. 🐘

We have over-landed 2000 miles to Addo and camping in this national park surrounded by elephants is a very special experience!

Home to over 600 elephants, Addo is one of the best places in the country to get close to these gentle giants. We stayed at the Main Camp to experience the famous underground hide at night, which we had to book more than 3 months in advance!

We first visited Addo back in 2014 and absolutely fell in love. A decade later, we’re finally back — and it’s just as magical as we remembered.

🚐 OUR STORY (So Far):
• 3+ years of full-time van life in our self-converted Ford Transit
• Travel companions: our two cats Tia & Skye (they’ve been to 10+ countries!)
• In 2024, we sold our van and now travel full-time from our Cornwall home base
• Exploring the world through road trips, overlanding, boutique stays, and more

🗺️ Whether we’re climbing up a remote 4x4 trail like Sani Pass, snowboarding down a mountain, or hiking in nature — we believe travel is about challenge, growth, and connection.
