Hike #97: Potato Mountain, Claremont, CA (Angeles National Forest), CA (Regular Version)

Hiking Potato Mountain: San Gabriel Mountains (Angeles National Forest), CA.

Potato Mountain is an often revisited location for me. It is convenient and somewhat local, so when not inclined to travel far, there is always this option for a hike. Although I had been there several times, it was still about 6 years since my last visit. I was certainly overdue. This is the first time I encountered potatoes on the summit. So in a way, this was a new experience. That's what's great about visiting old favorite places. No matter how many times you visit, there is always something new to see or experience. I guess that means I will be back again someday...to see what else is new!
