Volunteering has a long standing role in international development and can help prepare young people understand the challenges and opportunities of a globalised world.

This conference, hosted by the McConnell International Foundation in partnership with the Scottish Government, examines the role of international volunteering, school partnerships and educational trips in fostering global citizenship, against a backdrop of post-colonialism, the pandemic and the climate emergency.
