Khalistani groups in Canada seized control of cash-rich gurudwaras and targeted their secular political enemies, using their ties to ethnic-Punjabi criminal gangs. The police paid no attention — but the gangs have now exploded, posing a threat to the entire ethnic-Punjabi immigrant community, and Canada as a whole.
