Sea to Summit SUP Deck Bag Review (24L)

▶ http://www.inflatableboarder.com/stsbag — In this review of the 24L Sea to Summit SUP Deck Bag, we'll talk about the best features of this paddleboarding dry bag, the construction and build quality, what we think can be improved, the waterproof performance, hardware quality, and more.

This dry bag is currently only available in blue, but Sea to Summit does have two different sized options: 12L and 24L. The bag has the popular roll top closure system that securely seals the bag and keeps all of your gear inside completely dry.

On the bottom of the bag are three elastic straps with red aluminum buckles, and it can easily be secured to a hard paddle board with the company's adhesive lash tabs or to an inflatable SUP via the bungee cord or D-rings.

This bag performed extremely well in all of our tests, even passing full submersion tests with zero leakage.

While not the cheapest dry bag on the market, this is a very high-quality bag that is built well and should hold up for many years. One thing that we think could be improved is the addition of a backpack or shoulder strap. Currently, the bag doesn't have a carrying strap and this would really improve the versatility of it.

Secondly, we'd like to see a heavier duty plastic used for the internal insert. The lightweight, flexible insert that it currently comes with tends to lose its shape if anything is set on top of it.

Overall, the Sea to Summit SUP Deck Bag is a nice option if you're looking for a waterproof bag to simply attach to the nose of your paddle board. It's an attractive bag that is reliable and will keep your gear dry while you're out paddling.
