Air Fryer Crispy Fried Chicken Thighs

Ingredients:
Chicken Thighs – 4 (Bone-in, Skin-on, about 1.5 lbs)
Eggs – 2
Hot Sauce – 2 Tbsp
All Purpose Flour – 3/4 cup
Corn Starch – 1/4 cup
Paprika – 1 tsp
Cayenne – 1 tsp
Onion Powder – 1 tsp
Garlic Powder – 1 tsp
Italian Seasoning – 1tsp
Black Pepper – 1/2 tsp (separated)
Salt – 1 3/4 tsp or as needed (seperated

Instructions:
1. Wash and pat dry chicken thighs
2. Mix all purpose flour, corn starch, paprika, cayenne, onion powder, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, ¼ tsp black pepper, and 1 tsp salt together
3. Mix eggs with hot sauce
4. Season the chicken thighs with ¼ tsp black pepper and ¾ tsp salt
5. Preheat Air Fryer at 390 degrees F for 5 minutes
6. Dip chicken first in flour mixture (shake off extra flour), then egg mixture (shake off extra), and then in flour mixture again (shake off extra flour)
7. Oil the basket
8. Place the chicken thighs in the basket skin side down. Be sure not to overcrowd, air fry in batches if needed
9. Air fry at 390 degrees F for 22 minutes. Flip after 12 minutes
10. Add additional time if needed for minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees F
11. Remove the chicken when done and air fry the next batch if any
12. If air frying in batches, add the 1st batch of chicken back with the last batch for the last 2 minutes to warm up (optional)
