Khardah is a small town in the North 24 Parganas district. It is well connected by Bus, Train, and Ferry. There are a few ancient heritage temples situated in Khardah. One of these is the Shyamsundar Temple. That is the purpose of our visit. We went to Khardah by taking a ferry service from Rishra. You can also come to Khardah by BT Road and get down to Khardah Police Station. From there you can take Toto to reach Shyamsundar Temple. It is one of the ancient Vaishnava temples near Kolkata. No videography or photography was allowed inside this temple, so you can come here and have a darshan of Shree Krishna.

Apart from this temple, there is another ancient temple complex situated near Khardah Ferry Ghat. The complex is known as the 26 Shiva Temple Complex. It is one of the sites in Kolkata which is maintained by ASI, Govt. of India. The nearest attractions are Mahaprabhu Nabaratna Temple, Annapurna Temple, and Gopinath Jiu Temple.
