राज्याच्या विधानसभा निवडणुकीचा निकाल लागल्यानंतर मुख्यमंत्रीपदाबाबत राजकीय वर्तुळात तर्क-वितर्कांना उधाण आलंय. भाजपचे पक्षश्रेष्ठी देवेंद्र फडणवीसांना राज्याच्या मुख्यमंत्रीपदाची जबाबदारी देतील, अशी तुफान चर्चा रंगलीय. अशातच एकनाथ शिंदे यांनी आज त्यांच्या ठाणे येथील निवासस्थानी पत्रकार परिषद घेऊन मोठी घोषणा केली. यावेळी शिंदे म्हणाले, "मी स्वत: काल पंतप्रधान मोदी यांना फोन केला होता. त्यांना फोन करून सांगितलं की, सरकार बनवताना निर्णय घेताना... कुठलं काही असं अडचणीचं आहे किंवा अडचण आहे माझ्यामुळे किंवा इतर कुणामुळे हे अजिबात मनात आणू नका.

बाळासाहेब ठाकरे यांची सर्वसामान्य शिवसैनिक हा मुख्यमंत्री व्हावा ही इच्छा होती, ती इच्छा पंतप्रधान मोदी यांनी पूर्ण केली. त्यामुळे मुख्यमंत्री पदाचा निर्णय पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी आणि अमित शाह जो घेतील तो शिवसेना म्हणून आम्हाला मान्य असेल. काल पंतप्रधान मोदी आणि अमित शाह यांना फोन केला होता. त्यांच्याशी संवाद साधला. मुख्यमंत्रीपदाबाबत जो काही निर्णय होईल, त्यामध्ये माझा कोणताही अडसर नसेल. भाजपाचे नेतृत्व जो निर्णय घेईल, तो आम्हाला मान्य असेल, असे एकनाथ शिंदे यांनी स्पष्ट केले. त्यामुळे आता भाजपाचा मुख्यमंत्री होण्याचा मार्ग मोकळा झाल्याचे सांगितले जात आहे.
