TRAVELLING HOME TO THE FRENCH RIVIERA + NEW YEAR DRAMA! | FIRST VLOG OF 2025

We’re starting off 2025 with quite the adventure! After a wonderful 9 days in the UK with family, it’s time to head back to the French Riviera, but of course, it doesn’t go smoothly.

The airport drama starts with overweight luggage, which means double fees at both Manchester and Geneva (thanks to EasyJet’s changeover rules!). To make matters worse, flight delays leave us rushing to make our connection, carrying huge cases through security and losing a ton of liquids in the process. But after a very long day, we finally make it home at midnight.

After arriving back to Cannes, it’s all systems go with a big catch-up chat, taking down the Christmas decorations, cleaning the house, and trying to get organised for the new year. We’ve also been eagerly awaiting our new bed after over 6 weeks of sleeping on a mattress on the floor. But when we unbox it… disappointment strikes, they’ve sent the wrong bed! No storage system, just a fixed frame. So we’re back on the phone, trying to sort it all out, packing the bed back up, and preparing for another wait.

It’s a hectic start to the year, but we’re staying positive and making the most of it! Join us for this travel drama and home life chaos as we dive into 2025.
