OK deep breath!

So there's two parts to this clip. One incident involving a player nothing to do with the one I'm reporting and then the second part where I feel I was barged off track.

Since my warning and subsequent ban (rescinded for reasons that remain unexplained) I'm now super paranoid about every incident I'm involved in so I'm prefacing this report with a defence of the first incident. I'm also including this incident for context as players can sometimes play at judge, jury and executioner when they see another player "take out someone else".

With regards the first incident and penalty. This was so not deliberate. We where on a corner exit and I was expecting them to be accelerating but they maybe got some oversteer on the kerb and had to lift - I didn't have the time to react though. The contact was also super light on my side - but given how much they and other players where "vibrating" in this lobby, I might have been experiencing netcode issues and this player got a way bigger hit from their pov than mine. It's true I didn't brake till after contact happened however it's near instantaneous with the contact. I feel this shows that my slow brain was at least registering there was an issue ahead, it just took time to actually react.
Due to FastCAR716207 I saved the demo and this does show Invoxiss did lift on the kerb. I'm of the opinion that this validates what I thought at the time. They where slower than I expected and I had no time to avoid. Add in the lag in this lobby and we have a nice recipe for this sort of thing :(

OK so that's that bit.

The second part, we're going into the corner, FastCAT716207 nearly pits me which slows me down and they get alongside a bit - I can't really tell how far because proximity arrows are pretty poor substitute for radar - Anyway I'm going along the straight, I feel some pushing on the wheel which suddenly clears, I move left a bit to narrow their angle of entry, make contact and immediately stop moving left.
We then get to the braking zone... So given this player had hit me a number of times, I wasn't inclined to just open the door for them to pass only for them to hit me again on the apex and send me off track. Isn't hindsight a wonderful thing!
Little did I know they where overtaking on this corner no matter what - including but not limited to doing it off track!
I genuinely don't think they had any sort of overtaking opportunity at either corner, that's maybe less the case for the second one but I'd contend they where only in that position because they hit me in the first one.

Just as an aside, this is them pitting someone else earlier in the race - didn't see any avoiding action taken there, if anything I'd say they turned into them!
