Southern Railway & Chesapeake & Ohio Heritage units and lots more!

Описание к видео Southern Railway & Chesapeake & Ohio Heritage units and lots more!

Today was a great day because I saw my 2 favorite heritage units. I knew the Southern Railway heritage unit was coming so we went down to Crescent Springs, KY. We saw nothing except a malfunctioning crossing gate that kept going up and down. We saw that the SR heritage unit was reported in Hamilton so we sped over to Winton Place, OH at Mill Creek bridge. On the way there, I saw NS 1070 (Wabash) behind trees, so that was cool. We saw a couple trains. I knew a train was coming because it had a green signal. After a little bit I checked if I could see the train, and I sure did. CSX 1869 (Chesapeake & Ohio) Was leading. I was so excited because this is one of my favorite heritage units and I had no clue it was coming. After this a couple more trains went by, another NS train went by. I was hoping this train was the one with the Southern RY Heritage unit. At first I thought it wasn’t the train because I did not know that it was a mid DPU. I recognized the number on the leading engine (8088) and knew that the Southern heritage unit was on this train. I saw it and got a great video. On our way home going under the C&O bridge on Gest St a BNSF warbonnet was going over the bridge with another BNSF engine. I finally saw my top 2 favorite heritage units!
I hope you enjoyed!
