Helllooo everybody and come along for the ride as I birth the Marquette Golden Eagles program on NCAA 14.

In this episode, our Marquette Golden Eagles look to rebound after a loss to Minnesota last time out. They'll take on the (5-1) #10 Nebraska Cornhuskers from Memorial Stadium. The Cornhuskers boast a top 5 offense in the nation led by Tommy Armstrong Jr. at QB. After an early hookup to fellow senior WR Jordan Westerkamp, it looked like Marquette would be in for a long day.

However, the defense would hunker down and the offense would finally find their footing as they keep up with the high-octane Nebraska offense. Marquette has won five consecutive games against ranked opponents. However, they have never defeated a Top 10 team and look to achieve that feat this week against the Cornhuskers in a hostile road environment.

The Golden Eagles prove they can hang with a Big Ten power such as Nebraska as this affair comes down to the wire. Each side trades late field goals, but could Marquette steal a win and complete Larceny in Lincoln?

In what's poised to be a blowout victory for the Golden Eagles, they'll prepare for this matchup as we do for every game as no team can afford to be complacent no matter the opponent. Following the game against UMASS, we'll head back to the recruiting board and get an update as this class takes shape and currently stands as one of the best in the nation.
