Her academic pursuits included comprehensive learning across various media forms, including radio/audio programming, photography, television programming, and filmmaking, supplemented by a separate certification in multimedia.

Shalini’s career trajectory is nothing short of inspiring. Beginning her professional journey as an Assistant Director with Anecdote Films, she contributed significantly from December 2012 to November 2015. She then embraced the role of a Professional Photographer and Digital Marketer at Cameraderie Photography, where she handled everything from wedding and event photography to managing social media accounts and spearheading marketing initiatives.

Her storytelling prowess was further honed through her experiences as a Freelance Filmmaker and later as a Content Manager and Head Writer for Trend Loud Media Pvt Ltd. Here, Shalini developed, pitched, and narrated web films and series for various OTT platforms, even writing pilot screenplays for projects that are still in the pipeline. Her freelance work continues to flourish as she writes and develops content for digital platforms and crafts screenplays for production houses.

Apart from her professional engagements, Shalini's commitment to community and education shines through her volunteer work with the Becoming I Foundation, where she taught theatre and performance to primary kids, empowering them through the arts.

Her recent roles include being the Founder of Hysterical Comedy Collaborative and working as a Creative Producer with evam entertainment since May 2023. Each of these roles underscores her multifaceted talent and dedication to the creative industries.

Shalini's acting prowess is also notable, with a significant role as Jessica in the critically acclaimed film "Achcham Madam Naanam Payirppu" (2022). Furthermore, her expertise was instrumental as the Second Unit or Assistant Director in the making of "For the Love of a Man" (2015), a role that allowed her to delve deep into the filmmaking process.
