My patient had several direct composite restorations on this 1.1, but they all failed, so he gave up on trying to fix it. This led to him getting a carious lesion on the exposed dentin, which only increased the amount of lost tissue.
For context, once he arrived in our office, he had already had an orthodontic appliance for 3 years.
I decided to have a wax-up made from a scan I performed at his initial visit and I used that to get a silicone palatal shell.
After my orthodontist removed the orthodontic wire and bracket, I built the tooth from the palatal to the buccal, using GC Essentia Composite masses for each correspondent layer.

Light Enamel (LE) for the palatal shell, Ever X Flow Dentin and Medium Dentin (MD) for the dentin layer and again Light Enamel (LE) for the buccal shell.
I also fixed the chipped mesial angle of tooth 2.1 using only LE.

After shaping the teeth, using Soflex discs, I polished and did a minimal amount of surface textures as these details were going to be hidden by rebonding the orthodontic bracket. This was required, because my young patient is going to continue his orthodontic journey in our office.
